Missions Photo Exporting everyday Janes and Joes around the globe on short-term mission trips to support and sustain church plants!

Over the years we have literally taken thousands of folks from Vineyard across the globe! People go and serve on practical work projects, with prayer teams and in leadership development. Their lives are changed because of how God works through them and in them, and their faith is radicalized!

If you are interested in becoming an Everyday Export, browse the list of future exports below.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

WHEN: December 28 to January 7

WHERE: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Paradise Vineyard Church with missionaries Ric and Joy Lehman—get a preview at www.worshipinparadise.org)

WHAT: Paradise Vineyard Church is made up of folks who winter half the year in Puerto Vallarta, as well as those who have moved down full-time. They recently moved into a new 10,000 sq ft space! In addition to being the church, the space is a community center and restaurant as well.

All team members will assist in worship on Sunday morning. During the week we’ll do construction for either Compassionate Homes or a local church that partners with Ric. This may include installing concrete floors or roofs, putting up walls or painting. We may also do yard work to keep animals out of the homes. We’ll also take out a mobile kitchen and cook hamburgers or hotdogs in a poor neighborhood. The week might also include time praying and participating in worship at a variety of partner churches, an orphanage in the area, putting on a “kid’s camp”, etc. There will also be plenty of opportunities to help folks with a “hand up” as well as servant outreach.

It’s wonderful to have Spanish speakers join us for translation purposes, but it isn’t mandatory.

HOW: We’ll fly. We’ll take vans to the airport.

COST: The cost is approximately $1199; however, if the airfare has gone up it will be airfare + $800. The payment schedule is as follows:

Application + airfare due when ticket purchased; hopefully by September 26, 2010. We can get a fabulous deal right now on the airfare so it is definitely to one’s advantage to get your application and initial payment in asap.
  • $299 due Oct 17, 2010
  • $300 due November 14, 2010
  • $200 due December 12, 2010

WHY: We want to partner with Paradise Vineyard Church in Puerto Vallarta and make a difference for the kingdom of God by reaching out to the poor and under-resourced people in this area.

Jinotepe and Managua, Nicaragua

WHEN: Tuesday, January 4 to Friday, January 14 (yes, that’s 11 days!)

WHERE: Jinotepe and Managua, Nicaragua

WHAT: We will be partnering with Arms of Love (part of Vineyard USA) and the La Viñas (Vineyard churches) in the region. We will stay at the 20-acre Arms of Love property in Jinotepe where 35 children live. The girls and boys range in age from 4 to 20. The home is closely affiliated with the La Viña in Managua. Spanish is the official language at the home, but translators are available. The children will not be in school while we are there. We plan to participate in church and street ministry as well as in community outreach (working with a La Viña church plant in Tipi Tapa). A variety of activities to support and sustain Vineyard church plants in Nicaragua are also planned.

HOW: We’ll fly. Once we arrive in Nicaragua we’ll be using vans/buses to get around.

COST: The cost is $1700. We’ve reserved 20 seats on the Continental flight.

The payment schedule is as follows:

  • Application + $450 due August 29, 2010
  • $450 due September 12, 2010
  • $400 due October 10, 2010
  • $400 due November 14, 2010

WHY: We want to partner with Arms of Love and the La Viña church in Managua and make a difference for the kingdom by reaching out to kids and to the poor/under-resourced in this region. We also want to serve the La Viñas in the region.
