Our goal over the next six months is to raise $300,000 in gifts and pledges to Total Vineyard Makeover. God is able to provide all that we need to be the church he has called us to be. We invite and encourage you to make a commitment to give sacrificially to our vision and future.
Total Vineyard Makeover
A few years ago we were alarmed to realize that over 100 people were commuting to the Vineyard (in Fort Collins) from Windsor; our vision has never been to be a “commuter church”. We responded in 2006 by starting a campus in Windsor. And it’s been a fantastic success! We’re more effective at reaching the people of Windsor and many have come to Christ.
The vibrancy and success of our Windsor campus has inspired us to focus on another group of people that our current locations are unable to reach: those on the south end of Fort Collins.
Reaching our community
For our church to serve our entire community, we must also have a presence in the south. We don’t want people to just commute to Riverside Ave! Accordingly, we’re committed to launching a campus in South Fort Collins by the end of the year. At the same time, we’re also committed to re-launching our North campus with a renewed focus.
Hans Breuer, our Executive Pastor, and his wife Peggy will pastor the new community. They have been uniquely wired for this role—they’re ready!
We’re excited about what the future holds for us.
Our two-pronged approach
Our focus is two-pronged: launch a South campus AND renovate, re-energize and re-launch our North campus (currently our Fort Collins campus). Here’s what kind of atmosphere you can expect at our two Fort Collins campuses:
South Campus
The South campus will reflect the suburban feel of South Fort Collins. We expect to reach plenty of families with kids of all ages. Many of these families are far from God and will respond well to a church like the Vineyard. Our atmosphere will be relaxed and comfortable. Of course our ministries, philosophy, beliefs and teachings will be aligned with each of our other Vineyard Church of the Rockies locations.
Our launch will proceed in several phases:

Start the South campus (we've found a location at 4800 Wheaton Dr!).

Build a chapel on the land we purchased during our “Imagine” campaign and move the South campus to that location (on South College Ave).

Expand the South campus with an auditorium and spaces for kids, youth, classes and offices.
North Campus
Our current Fort Collins campus will become the North campus. We’ll remain on Riverside Ave and house the Vineyard Resource Center on-site. We’ll have a “Fort-Collins-urban” feel and continue to reach lots of young adults, young married couples (with or without kids) and the diverse populations that typify the heart of north Fort Collins: Old Town and the CSU campus. You won’t notice any changes in our services; Overdrive, our 7pm service, will remain an important venue at the North campus with its amped-up and high-energy vibe.
