How do I get connected at Vineyard?

Several times a year we offer Discover Vineyard (step one), a dessert night designed to help you learn all about the history and values of Vineyard in a comfortable and relaxing environment. You'll also get to meet some of the pastors.

From there you'll have an opportunity to join in Discover Community (step two), a 3-week workshop to learn how you can find your people, place and purpose. You'll also have an opportunity to become a member. 3 meals ($10) and childcare (free) are provided.

Finally, we encourage you to Start the Journey (step three) by joining a small group or serving in the church. We're about more than just classes... we're about doing!

To sign up for our next Discover Vineyard dessert or Discover Community workshop, contact MaryAnn at 484.5999 x206.

How do I get info about events?

The easiest way is to pick up a copy of the weekly program, located on the info wall (or available here for download). You can also sign-up to be on our email list to receive info about upcoming events and church news. Just fill out a data located at the Info Counter.

How do I sign-up for events?

Go to the Info Counter where you can find sign-up sheets to register for events.

How do I get involved in a small group?

Small groups meet throughout the week both here at the Vineyard and in people's homes offering relationship, fellowship, spiritual development, practical Bible study and prayer. Our small groups are a place where people of all ages and stages in life can develop lifelong friendships.

To find a group, check out the small groups cards located on the info wall.

What is the Resource Center?

The Resource Center is our outreach center for the under-resourced in Northern Colorado. We provide free clothing and food to those in need and are open by appointment only on Tuesdays from 6-8pm and Wednesdays from 9:30am-1:30pm.

What does the Vineyard believe about baptism?

The first story in the Bible about Jesus as an adult is his baptism. The last thing Jesus said to his disciples before ascending into heaven was that they should go throughout the world making disciples and baptizing them. Baptism is obviously a very important activity in the New Testament. Baptism is also a subject that Christians don’t all agree about. Here at the Vineyard, we view it as a secondary issue, allowing some room for disagreement between sincere believers. We have, nonetheless, tried to be faithful to the Bible and faithful to what the church has done historically.

How do I get baptized?
We offer baptism four times a year on Wednesday nights (called Baptism and Worship Night). For those getting baptized, a mandatory baptism class is offered prior to the event. Watch the program for details on the next baptism or contact the church office at 970.484.5999.

What about baby baptism?
Here at Vineyard we offer baby dedication instead of baptism. Baptism is a symbol that an individual has chosen to become a follower of Christ and make him the Lord of his life. In order to be baptized, a person must be at least six years of age and have made a personal choice to follow Christ.

How do we get married at Vineyard?

In order to give you the best chance at making your marriage last, we've got a couple of requirements:

  • In order to be married at the Vineyard or by a Vineyard pastor, you must complete our pre-marital training class, Partners for Life. Please give yourselves plenty of time to complete this 7-week class before your wedding!
  • If you have been previously married, we also require that you take DivorceCare. Here at the Vineyard, we do not believe that divorce disqualifies you from the goodness of God in your life! However, we want to make sure that you have found healing from your previous relationships.

For complete details, pick up a wedding packet in the Lobby at the Info Counter; all prices and requirements are listed there. Completed wedding information forms should be turned in to the Wedding Coordinator at the church office.

What about tithing?

Money. Few topics cause more anxiety, stress and discomfort. And yet the Bible is full of references to money and giving. As a matter of fact, there are more promises in the Bible connected with giving than any other subject! Clearly, money is a powerful force in our lives and needs to be under God’s control. As Christians (those who have made a lifetime commitment to follow Jesus Christ) the cornerstone of our financial discipleship is understanding the tithe. Click here to give online!
