Small Groups
|
The greatest benefit of being in a small group is the love and support you can experience through relationships that are developed. God uses our daily ups and downs to create a bond with one another. The phrase "one another" is used over fifty times in the New Testament to describe our relationship to other believers. We are instructed to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, accept one another, bear one another's burdens and build up one another. One of the best ways you can do these things is by being in a small group! Small groups provide excellent support in times of crisis, change and stress. You can gain a sense of stability and security knowing there are people who really care for you and are committed to standing with you. Many people in our church have said that they wouldn't have made it through a difficult time if it hadn't been for the support of their small group. |
